Footsie 101 was established in 1979 in the heart of Shepherds Bush, London. Originally founded as Foy’s Shoes, the store became popular due to it's quirky footwear styles and some of the celebrities that would occasionally pop over from the BBC studio's in White City to buy them.
During the 80's and London's ever growing popularity in the music and fashion scene, Foy's decided to rebrand and be known as Footsie 101 as the new name was catchy and memorable with our customers.

As Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Oxford Street drew in the crowds from around the world, Footsie became even more popular, especially within the Middle East and Far East regions.
In the early 90’s, Footsie firmly established themselves as one of the top stores to visit in Shepherds Bush Market. SBM's popularity became so well-known we found several BBC documentaries being filmed in and around the area, and it was even popular for the odd MTV music video or two.
With this popularity, Footsie 101 decided to expand and launch it’s second store down the road in 1998, followed by a third in 2001 in Camberley, Surrey.
Today, even after 41 years we are still a family run business and have decided to launch our online website in 2020 due to heavy demand from our customers. So, here we are… We do hope you really enjoy our range.
